About Us

Daniel's fascination with the ocean started when his parents took him to the beach at a young age. He spent all of his time poking around the tide pools looking for critters. Shortly after returning home he bought a freshwater aquarium and learned how to care for fish and plants.

In his adolescent years, a friend introduced him to aquaculture. At the time, it was nearly impossible to keep coral in an aquarium, but Daniel felt it was necessary given the rapid decline of the delicate coral reef ecosystems. He purchased a salt water aquarium determined to grow and preserve coral at home.

Daniels success today is the result of many failures. He has fine tuned his parameters over the course of decades. He is dedicated to contributing to growth in the field of aquaculture and spends much of his energy fighting for the preservation of coral reefs in the wild.
